Temporary-to-Hire employees are persons who are hired temporarily. They may be paid by the hour; however, they must be used as employees for the duration of the hire period and cannot be terminated before the end of the engagement. A Temp-to-Hire employee can’t be rehired later without the employer filing another petition for labor certification.
