What is Gen Z?

Gen Z also called as Zoomers, refers to the demographic cohort that follows the Millennials. They were born roughly between the mid-1990s and mid-2000s. They are often characterized as tech-native, diverse, socially conscious, and adaptable to change. Gen Z individuals have been shaped by events such as the Great Recession and Covid-19. They are known for their entrepreneurial spirit, desire for authenticity, and emphasis on work-life balance.

  • Pragmatic and realistic: Gen Z are more pragmatic and realistic than previous generations. They are more likely to focus on financial security and stability.
  • Optimistic and hopeful about the future: Gen Z is optimistic about the future. They believe that they can make a difference in the world and create a better future for themselves and for generations to come.

What are Gen Z's workplace values?

Generation Z expects the following in the workplace:
