Request for proposal (RFP) is currently one of the most popular techniques of outsourcing activities in many organizations. It is a method that involves sending out an RFP “Request for Proposal” to many potential manufacturers, buyers, consulting companies offering a service, or any other provider, who can respond to the RFP. The issuer of the RFP then receives several responses, reviews them, and picks one which they consider the best to be awarded the contract.
