Extrinsic motivation

    Extrinsic motivation can be defined as the impact of external aspects on a person’s work effectiveness and performance. These aspects exist outside of the scope of standard variables in various organizations and human resources like rewards, bonuses, recognition, etc., which are termed to be intrinsic motivation.
