Safe Harbor Regulations

    Safe harbor regulations have been put into place to protect employers from being sued for taking adverse actions regarding their employees. The H-1B temporary worker program makes it possible to temporarily employ foreign workers and continue employment under the law conditions. All employers must follow the H-1B requirements and abide by the U.S. Secretary of Labor’s prevailing wage and working condition determinations, which are used to calculate employer H-1B charges.
