Request for Information (RFI) | Meaning & Definition | Akrivia HCM

Request for information (RFI) is an approach to gathering information on services or products. RFI is a business process used in the supply management cycle. This process is typically used after an organization has defined its needs and is ready to solicit offers from multiple suppliers, who can send representatives to help the client with their considerations. The responses are analyzed and evaluated, and the best response(s) are selected for negotiations to procure the best deal for the client.
