Random Testing is an organizational development technique designed to improve motivation and performance in an organization by taking advantage of the self-motivation and performance of individual employees. Assuming that employees work better when they are self-motivated or chosen by themselves, organizations will appoint one person (usually the manager) to select different employees at random each day to test their knowledge and skills. Such tests can be general tests or skill-specific tests. This technique is used to improve the overall performance of the organization through employee motivation, as well as give adequate feedback to the individual employees, so they will know what they need to improve on.
