The Halo Horn Effect is a comparison bias in which people see only one trait,  either positive (Halo) or negative (Horn), based on characteristics rather than qualifications or skills. Halo Horn Effect refers to a type of first impression on an individual which leads to a positive or negative opinion of the individual’s work.

In the case of the Halo effect, someone’s first impression of a person will be very positive because they have not paid attention to a person’s negative characteristics. And In the case of the Horn effect, people’s first impressions of others will be based on their negative characteristics.
