Featherbedding

Featherbedding is a term used by the labor-union movement to describe the situation in which employees are assigned a higher than an average number of less-skilled tasks designed to pad a job’s overall time. Featherbinging takes advantage of an employee by forcing them to take on duties that do not fully use their specific talents and abilities.
