Restricted distribution, indirect restrictions, and the concept of distributive equity are all vital parts of collective bargaining. Although the main benefit is cost savings through reducing labor costs, distributive bargaining can also have negative results. A better alternative to distributive bargaining is cooperative bargaining because it creates conditions favorable to both employer and employee.
