“Culture fit” is a term employers use in the hiring process to identify candidates who will adapt well to the company’s culture and further the organization’s goals. Although each company considers its own unique set of factors when determining proper “culture fit,” those commonly considered include a candidate’s professional experience, communication skills, willingness to go above and beyond, motivation, sense of humor, and personality. In other words, an employee or initiative that not only fits with a company’s culture but enhances or otherwise upgrades it.
